Tesla Wall Connector
The Tesla wall connector is specific for any Tesla model car. It ensures direct compatibility between your wall outlet and car. With a capacity of up to 7.4kW single phase and 22.1kW three phase, the Tesla Wall connector can be configured to suit your house and needs.
With a variable input to suit either single phase, 2 phase or 3 phase properties, the Tesla wall charger is super flexible in its design.
The wall outlet comes with a tethered 7.3m Type 2 connector and works seamlessly with any Tesla model car.

Zappi V2
The Zappi V2 is an intelligent smart car charger that is perfect for households with solar installed.
The Zappi V2 unit can be programmed to purely charge your car from excess solar production which means your vehicle is really viable to reach near on net zero emissions.
Zappi have also created an optional smart device called Harvi into their system which allows the end user to have full app visibility of their car charger and to remotely change how the car is charging. From an Eco+ through to Fast mode, this charger gives the user full flexibility in their car charging requirements.
The unit can come with either a tethered or un-tethered cable with your choice of type 1 or type 2 connector and has charging capacity of either 7kW single phase or 22kW three phase.
The Zappi is compatible with a full range of the current cars which include the BYD Atto, Hyundai Ioniq, Tesla and Audi e-tron just to name a few.

ZJ Beny smart charger
The ZJ Beny is an excellent base line car charger. It is a simple plug and play device giving your car exactly what you want. The unit comes in a 7kW single phase or 22kW three phase option and has the type 2 car connector.
With RFID card scanners for private plug and charge and simple scheduling for car charging capacity this is an excellent base charger that will do everything you want.

These guys know their stuff. Excellent from planning to installation. Have had the system in for almost a year without fault. Feel comforted by the fact they are monitoring the system remotely. This system is teaching me to live in credit rather than on credit which is a good thing. I look forward to installing a battery when it becomes cost effective. Not any time soon it appears.
If I have anything in the negative to say ( and it’s not about Cove) it would be the long wait time for the final inspection, over a month. That’s a long time and cost to go without your own electricity when it’s there on your roof. When the inspector explained how the authorities structure the process It left me cold. Maybe the minister responsible needs to instruct them to get their act together. Any waiting doesn’t need to happen at all as far as I can see in a well managed authority.

Vernon and his team at Cove technologies have been an absolute pleasure to deal with in every way!
I cannot recount how many times other professionals (airconditioning installers, builders, etc.) have attended our home, only for my wife to get pushy, arrogant, rude and condescending behaviour. Questions however small are treated as an inconvenience, if they are even addressed at all. If these were small purchases i'd understand, but sometimes we're talking into the 10's of thousands of dollars - for that amount of money i expect some civility and an answer... anyhow, rant over : )

Vernon was fantastic to deal with! After the first company I chose to install my solar lost their accreditation with Vic Solar, I found another. But after even more research I felt like I'd been sold on the quality of the panels (not the racking or invertor). Plus, there was constant hassle and call centre follow up. I didn't like being pushed.
Finally I found Vernon @ Cove; local, likeable and very willing to run through the quote I'd received from the second company and then quote for a far superior system for around the same investment on my part. Amazing.
The install was all done in a day, no mess, no fuss - and it was up and running in about 3 days. Vernon also taught me how to use the app, and offered to update the backend data with my new tariffs for me so the data I would see would be bang on.
Plus, he told me to just call him if there's any issues, ever. Knowing it's a local business is a huge tick here.
Vernon has even knocked up a quote for my mum and dad for me, as we love our solar install so much.
After the initial feelings of overwhelm, dealing with Vernon @ Cove was just so simple. My family and friends are probably already sick of hearing how happy we are with our solar - so I thought I'd share the love here! 🙂

Vernon and his staff provided prompt, courteous and efficient service throughout the process. All required information and answers to questions were provided during the investigation stage. The Cove quotation was the most competitive of those received. Upon accepting the quotation the work was undertaken and completed as per the timeline given. Once installation was completed instruction on reading the inverter was given and the work site was totally cleaned of work debris. Follow up service and information also excellent.
