Vernon and his team did a great job over 2 days. I did my homework and thought I wanted a certain system. After speaking with Vernon he said the palm trees would shade a certain area and reduce the system output. The micro inverter system with Enphase was the way to go. He took the time to show me the difference and overall impact that it would make. Convinced I agreed and couldn’t be happier. My electric bill was between $660 and $1,600 a quarter - pool pumps etc etc … My first summer bill after install $228 and I am using way more electricity runny pool pumps and heat pumps etc etc - live in Melbourne The Enphase App changes the way you use electricity. You can see what turning off a device does to your requirements. I am fortunate to have a big roof with 22 panels and love the new system and my reduced bill. Thanks Vernon and team!!

These guys know their stuff. Excellent from planning to installation. Have had the system in for almost a year without fault. Feel comforted by the fact they are monitoring the system remotely. This system is teaching me to live in credit rather than on credit which is a good thing. I look forward to installing a battery when it becomes cost effective. Not any time soon it appears. If I have anything in the negative to say ( and it’s not about Cove) it would be the long wait time for the final inspection, over a month. That’s a long time and cost to go without your own electricity when it’s there on your roof. When the inspector explained how the authorities structure the process It left me cold. Maybe the minister responsible needs to instruct them to get their act together. Any waiting doesn’t need to happen at all as far as I can see in a well managed authority.

Vernon and his team at Cove technologies have been an absolute pleasure to deal with in every way! I cannot recount how many times other professionals (airconditioning installers, builders, etc.) have attended our home, only for my wife to get pushy, arrogant, rude and condescending behaviour. Questions however small are treated as an inconvenience, if they are even addressed at all. If these were small purchases i'd understand, but sometimes we're talking into the 10's of thousands of dollars - for that amount of money i expect some civility and an answer... anyhow, rant over : ) Vernon and his Team at Cove are the polar opposite! Willing to take the time to answer our questions with detailed responses, very friendly and flexible. Extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and fair with their quotes - i cannot recommend highly enough!

Very professional, efficient and easy to deal with

Vernon was fantastic to deal with! After the first company I chose to install my solar lost their accreditation with Vic Solar, I found another. But after even more research I felt like I'd been sold on the quality of the panels (not the racking or invertor). Plus, there was constant hassle and call centre follow up. I didn't like being pushed. Finally I found Vernon @ Cove; local, likeable and very willing to run through the quote I'd received from the second company and then quote for a far superior system for around the same investment on my part. Amazing. The install was all done in a day, no mess, no fuss - and it was up and running in about 3 days. Vernon also taught me how to use the app, and offered to update the backend data with my new tariffs for me so the data I would see would be bang on. Plus, he told me to just call him if there's any issues, ever. Knowing it's a local business is a huge tick here. Vernon has even knocked up a quote for my mum and dad for me, as we love our solar install so much. After the initial feelings of overwhelm, dealing with Vernon @ Cove was just so simple. My family and friends are probably already sick of hearing how happy we are with our solar - so I thought I'd share the love here! 🙂

Vernon and his staff provided prompt, courteous and efficient service throughout the process. All required information and answers to questions were provided during the investigation stage. The Cove quotation was the most competitive of those received. Upon accepting the quotation the work was undertaken and completed as per the timeline given. Once installation was completed instruction on reading the inverter was given and the work site was totally cleaned of work debris. Follow up service and information also excellent.
